Practising with a metronome
Start slowly enough that every note is clean, then raise the tempo in small steps — the speed trainer does it for you. Set subdivisions (eighths, triplets, sixteenths) to keep fast passages even, and try putting the click on beats 2 and 4 to build an internal pulse for jazz and pop.

The clicks are scheduled ahead of time on the Web Audio clock, so timing stays accurate even if the page is busy.
