4 ukulele tunings including Standard gCEA (re-entrant), Low G (G C E A), Baritone (D G B E), D tuning (aDF♯B): notes, string frequencies, fretboard maps and…
Standard gCEA (re-entrant) popular
G4 C4 E4 A4
The classic soprano/concert/tenor tuning. The 4th string is tuned high, so strummed chords sit in a bright, close voicing.
Low G (G C E A) popular
G3 C4 E4 A4
The 4th string an octave lower for a fuller bass and a continuous low-to-high scale.
Baritone (D G B E) popular
D3 G3 B3 E4
Same as the top four guitar strings; standard on baritone ukuleles.
D tuning (aDF♯B)
A4 D4 F#4 B4
The older 'English' tuning a whole step higher than gCEA — brighter, used in many vintage songbooks.
Strings listed 4 → 1 as they sit on the instrument (top to bottom when playing).
