Chromatic Scale for Soprano Recorder
Two-octave chromatic scale for soprano recorder from C4 to C6, with sharps ascending, flats descending, fingerings and audio playback.
Fingerings
Practising the chromatic scale
Sharps are used going up and flats coming down — the convention that keeps each step on a new letter wherever possible. Aim for perfectly even fingers: practise slurred in groups of four, then in triplets, with a metronome starting around ♩ = 60 and raising the tempo only when every note is clean.
